Windlass Catering Department

The Professionals who make up the Windlass' Catering Department have one mission in mind - to provide upstanding Windlass food and service regardless of the group's size or price-point.  Whether your event calls for a sit-down meal, cocktail reception, a party platters or buffet service - the Windlass will ensure that both you and your guests will walk away feeling - well - catered to.

On-Premise Events

On-Premise events can be held in the Windlass Private Party Room or, on occasion, in a portion of our dining room.  Kim Heineman is available to discuss your next event at the Windlass.  Kim is also a Front of House manager at The Windlass.   She has a complete understanding of how the kitchen, staff and building work best together.  Kim will help you plan your menu, organize details and suggest room arrangements as well as offer a host of extra enhancements to make your event as easy to plan as it is memorable for your guests.

Ed Kelly comes to the Windlass with over 30 years of catering experience behind him.  His mental inventory of successful catering ideas and practices are matched only by his network of and collaborative relationships with a host of venues throughout North West New Jersey.  If you need to take a great party on the road - Ed is you man.   Don't forget - Off-Site Catering also includes take-away platters for office parties and more casual gatherings.

Wedding Packages

It is your wedding.  There are countless details to work through.  The catering department at the Windlass is here to help.  With hundreds of weddings on our resume - we have a lot of experience attacking the details that make every wedding as individual as the couple it celebrates.  Every great wedding starts with a private consultation.  Once we discuss general ideas and concepts - the planning begins:  type of event, customizing the menu, the timing of the party, site layout, linen colors and even the manner in which our staff dresses for your special occasion.

We can also suggest the perfect florist, musical accompaniments, and even invitation design/wording to help complete the wedding theme.  We proudly work collaboratively with a host of third party vendors who supply such items as special arrangements, photo booths, favors and more.

Our Wedding Packages below are each designed as a five-hour party which are planned to included a festive cocktail gathering, sumptuous dinner and plenty of time for celebrating.
