On March 21, Prohibition Night at The Windlass transformed the lakefront into a lively speakeasy straight out of the Roaring ’20s. From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was set, vintage style, flowing cocktails, and the unmistakable sound of live jazz filling the room.
The night featured incredible live music by Peter and the Master Keys, keeping the dance floor packed from start to finish. Guests enjoyed a full buffet, passed hors d’oeuvres inspired by the era, and a high-energy celebration that didn’t slow down all night.
But what truly made the evening unforgettable was the crowd.
From flappers and fringe to pinstripes and fedoras, everyone showed up dressed to impress. The creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to the theme brought the Prohibition era to life in the best way possible. Our costume contest was one of the highlights of the night, and we want to congratulate all of our winners for going above and beyond.
Throughout the evening, guests captured the moment at our vintage-style photo booth, toasted with prohibition-inspired cocktails, and fully embraced the spirit of the night, where the drinks were flowing, the music was loud, and the rules were left at the door.
Most importantly, we want to thank everyone who joined us and helped make Prohibition Night such a success. Your energy, your style, and your enthusiasm are what turned this event into something truly special.
We have a feeling this is just the beginning…
Stay tuned for more events at the Windlass and if you missed this one, don’t make the same mistake twice.
